I have been working at Affirma full-time

    Pros

Very casual and fun culture, offers flexibility to an extent

    Cons

Affirma is going through some growing pains and leadership seems to be resistant to making meaningful changes to scale effectively. It is expected that you were well over 40 hours per week and you likely won't be able to keep up with everything if you're not putting in time at night or on the weekends.

I have been working at Affirma full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Everyone who I have worked with is super friendly, helpful, and simply nice to work with. I have worked with several different PM's, Devs, Designers, Architects, & Marketing staff. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. But my point is that everyone is professional and they have the patience to help answer any questions you might have about a project. - The design team specifically is amazing at providing feedback, tips, & resources. They are always down to help. We have bi-weekly design team meetings. This is nice because we can share our work for feedback. - The managers & executive team treat you like family. I am amazed at the support they provide & how understanding they are. Affirma is super flexible with working remote, work hours, family leave, etc. - They do an employee satisfaction survey twice a year. I love this because they actually listen to what employees are saying & make improvements. - When we were allowed in the office, the kitchen was always stocked with food & drinks. This was super convenient for me. They had a weekly Costco order. - Located in Bellevue with plenty of parking. - I am pretty happy about the new Premera Blue Cross insurance partnership - They offer 401 (K) plan as well as HSA for health - They have started offering sick time which is nice

    Cons

    - Salary is lower than other firms/companies - 401 (K) matching - I don't think they match - PTO is 2 weeks
