    Pros

Awesome if you want to see the country and not your family.

24 days on the road, then 4 days home is the work cycle. 70-90 hours per week is expected.

Hire more technicians to improve the work-life balance.

I worked at Aggreko full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Aggreko has alot of pros for working there. There is alot of freedom day to day. The service truck is personal use, and we used them for everything (you pretty much live in it anyways.) The other technicians are awesome. So many good people have come and gone with Aggreko. The training is also really good if your manager lets you attend.

    Cons

The management is horrible. If I wanted a manager straight from college or Applebees I would go work at Applebees. They will work you to the bone and not bat an eye. Don't expect hard work to get you anywhere, all it will get you is 100 hour work weeks and tiny raises. All the good employees left when the management somehow got worse. There are other options out there, and everyone with a brain realized that. You cannot fix bad management with more management.

    Advice to Management

You had the best employees that the industry had, and you lost many and will continue to lose more if you do not figure out how to manage the local depots.

I have been working at Aggreko full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent company, dynamic, agile and efficient.. Training and safety are highest priorities.

    Cons

Too many reestructures and changes keep the personnel in a state of uncertainty about their jobs.

    Advice to Management

Change is fine, adapting to the market demands is fine, but give time to he changes to work.

  10. "Good company"

    Pros

Experienced people, willing to share and mentor, opportunities across the world, decent time off, benefits comparable to most companies these days with high deductible, but offer hsa as well.

    Cons

Oil prices have an impact, lots of change for an extended period of time, need more focus on training, refreshing of skills.

    Advice to Management

Let employees know you are willing to hear theor suggestions
