Pros

They were a very family orientated company, owners family all work for the company, hardworkers which helped motivate employees to do the same.

Cons

Lost ideals of loyalty to long term employees which got them to where they are today, and management that rose through the ranks are only focused on profits which are no longer shared with the employees.

Busy till you drop

Pros

No micromanagement. Half day fridays ( if you can actually take them). You will stay busy if you are a performer, just won't recieve any feedback about it other than the pile up of work thry will keep shoveling at you. If you are family or friends of family, you can do no wrong.

Cons

They will load you up until you break and them blame it on you, even if you ask for help. Poor upper management, under staffed, lie to clients about man power, and then blame the disciplines when the client gets upset or there is poor quality. Take advantage of performers and rampant nepotism. Eventually bridges with clients will be burned, but thankfully for management the clients don't have too many other options right now. Walls are paper thin in offices or cube farm, only two options. You will not recieve feedback about performance, good or bad. If good, management takes credit, if bad, they let you know as they walk you out.

Pros

Once a month employee appreciation day (Connie's Pizza), 4 hour Fridays, and some of the best senior engineering professionals and down the ladder professionals in the industry.

Cons

Incompetent management, horrible benefits, they will fire you on a whim and realize oh crap and hire you back, lack of work, no sense of job security, protocol and internal procedure madness, if you are family you are golden if not you are just another machine to crank out work as fast as possible for their shareholders as they like to call themselves, and they WILL take advantage of you by any means necessary. Most of the engineering work is mindless tasks and it is not a good job for new engineers to learn the ropes. They provide no training whatsoever and if you would like to get some, good luck cause there is no hours for it. I quit here due to all of the above and have been called multiple times by the company after I quit to come back and it showed me once more they will "do whatever it takes" and cant take a hint that I quit there for a reason. There are much better companies out there so DO NOT waste your time as you will want to get out of there as fast as possible once you see the shenanigans they pull. In essence management cares only about the $ and nothing about some of the most talented and hardworking professionals in the industry.
