Pros

really nice co workers Access to covered parking Great food places within walking distance

Cons

1. Mgr's & above care only about #'s not about their people. Don't let them fool you. They claim they have an open door policy, but if you go to ask for help, question, etc .. you're definitely made too feel unwelcome & that you're bothering them. So much for "open door" 2. Unrealistic production expectations. In order to meet goal you HAVE to pull up 2 sessions of their billing system. Otherwise you'll always fall short. 3. It's detrimental to an employees growth if their Supervisor is unable to manage their personal time and provide feedback on their audits on the New Hires initial 90 days .. Instead it's just an email from the Supv saying "I'm going to be working on them because they're due this week". Yet no feedback? You're puposely setting up your employees to fail by NOT going over their mistakes and making them wait. 4. Incomplete training. ALL pertinent training should be provided upfront, NOT when it's convenient to Management. Access to ALL Payer portals should be the responsibility of Management NOT the employees & when the Supv knowingly receives multiple requests they should STOP spending so much time chit chatting with their male counterpart and ensure their teams success instead. 5. The Supv should NOT ignore our emails asking for assistance. 6. The Supv should treat their team equally and give ALL of them question time NOT just the most recent New Hires. 7. Don't ask your Supv trivial questions because they sure will be angry and have an attitude in their email response. This company cares ONLY about their matrices AND the bottom dollar. You're nothing more then a cubicle # here. Don't work here unless you're looking to get your spirit trampled on

Pros

Lots of career opportunities with new positions opening up and people quitting all the time. This company makes you appreciate how good you have it when you find a new job! Best thing I did was leave AVP and find a better company that values it's people.

Cons

Employees are treated like numbers and not valued. There is a lot of politics and terrible management at the corporate level.

Pros

Many employees are friendly and helpful

Cons

Tout work/life balance but expect the opposite. Very toxic environment. People Services contributes to discrimination and does nothing when employees bring concerns.
