I worked at Analog Rails full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work in an interesting problem domain. You're guaranteed to learn lots of things!

    Cons

I was fired on my third day of work because he couldn't convince me to take his worthless "stock" instead of an actual tiny paycheck. Oh, and the office was actually his house.

I have been working at Analog Rails as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you need to do some analog revision, you can come here and spend some time. That's all.
I would rather advice revising at your university library.

    Cons

The company has no value, no name so intern experience doesn't count either.
    Bad workplace.
    Long working hours.

    Advice to Management

Very moody, CEO is the deciding person in everything. Seems very nice first few days but changes his decisions too often.
He denies students who are interested to work, but makes quick decisions based on his situation which are often wrong.

I worked at Analog Rails full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you plan to work in the semi-conductor industry as an engineer, this would be a great internship.

    Concept and software is great.

    Cons

You work as a contractor for "stock" no salary. Owner will be fair and provide a place for you to stay and if
needed pocket money, but you better have a savings account ready to be depleted.

CEO is the only management, only decision maker therefore what constitutes for a sales strategy is what ever he pleases. Has no issue telling off prospective clients if he doesn't like a statement or question they made. Volatile personality.

    Advice to Management

Find a better way to sell your product, you are running into a brickwall over and over again.

I worked at Analog Rails as an intern

    Pros

Versatile work place that enables over all learning with relevant to industry needs in Semiconductor area. If you love to take ownership and responsibility of the work you are doing, then this is the right place to intern at. Cliff being an experienced professional in Analog design domain, working at Analog Rails would help you understand in reality how simple it is to design any Circuit. If you have open to learning mind set and highly digestive mind to assimilate wide variety of knowledge from technical skills to management lessons, Analog Rails is the place you might want to intern at. Having attended interviews at many companies before I landed on my current full time job, I have seen many of my interviewing managers known about Analog Rails.

    Cons

It's an unpaid internship, so might not be feasible to someone who is in need of pay during their Internship. Sometimes you may have to disagree and commit to move forward on the projects.

    Advice to Management

Time to push hard on sales! Wishing good luck!
