There's a Reason These Reviews All Say the Same Thing.
Nov 10, 2022 - Marketing Manager in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- They do genuinely care about work-life balance, it's not all talk - The individual contributors are outstanding, intelligent, kind people you will truly enjoy working with - You will get cool opportunities to try new things you would not in a typical corporate environment
Cons
The leadership, as mentioned in many reviews, is really that bad. Extremely unqualified, and would never get their role at any other company. They've just been there for so long that they keep being promoted, but their teams do their jobs for them. It is absolutely infuriating. (Not including the VP of Finance and VP of Ops who indeed are stellar, but everyone else is a 0/10) They also change goals every 5 seconds on the whim of the CEO and against every bit of data they have. And you can show them the data evidence and they'll tell you to do it anyway because it's what the CEO wants and they're just hype men. And then they will blame you when it does not work. Insanity at its finest. Truly the feedback from EVERY single review will be that they need to stop changing goals so often and yet they continue to do it every 2 months.

A lot of great pros, but executive leadership needs to be more cohesive
Oct 11, 2022 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great benefits and unlimited PTO that they let you use. Flexible work hours so long as you get your responsibilities taken care of. Annual company trips that are paid for. Great co-workers and a lot of fun events.
Cons
A lot of drama with managers and executives. Executives are constantly changing the goal-posts and initiatives. Salary increases get put on freeze when the company wants to save money.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Incredibly creative and intelligent co-workers.
Cons
Think of working here as a version of Lord of the Flies written and directed by Ayn Rand. Leadership is clueless -- selected by how sycophantic they are to the CEO -- and women and POC are often treated with less respect than their male, white counterparts. There is no real talent in seniority, and when things don't go their way, finger pointing is the go-to reaction. They recently laid off 15% of their workforce and re-forecasted a revenue goal over 30% lower than what they aimed for at the beginning of 2022. Things aren't looking too good.

Great culture, competitive pay, leadership invests in your career growth and development, flexible schedules, a lot of freedom within role, quarterly company events, monthly team events/lunches, incredible people
Cons
Not a good fit for people who aren't extremely motivated, entrepreneurial, and willing to take it upon themselves to make things happen-- depends on the person
