Pros

Some of the people I worked with were really nice and supportive

Cons

Salary is low. The company is disorganised It felt like everybody are pretending to run a company but what people are mainly busy doing is pretending they do an important job and they are important. Pretending that they know what they are doing. If you question even the smallest thing that these “important” people do, they will make life miserable. Forcing you to leave in that way No collective agreements, no overtime pay. Expected to do free work at event no matter if it is weekend, bank holiday. Very toxic environment to work in

Pros

Nice colleagues Good introduction to Norway Two person offices Salary beers Nice skiing trip every winter Christmas and summer parties They pay for Norwegian courses

Cons

- The company acts like a startup when it comes to salaries, benefits and pensions contribution while it's not. - Management doesn't trust employees, you're only told what to do all the time, no room for innovation, any new/different idea is met with super aggressive responses (asked a few other employees as well). - Almost impossible to get bonuses due to strange expectations. They gave bonuses around twice in the last 7 years. Felt like these expectations were in place not to give bonuses on purpose. - Very slow self-development/growth, managers don't seem to care about that. - A lot of micromanagement in the company. - Really high turnover rate. Managements had a strategy of hiring mainly university grads, and no serious attempts of keeping experienced people, so most people leave after around 3 years. - Our team manager gave all the interesting tasks to two team members, which made it pretty boring for most of the team, and that was one reason most of my team left the entire company. (probably it's not the case of the rest of the company, I don't know for sure). - Some perks like attending NDC were exclusive to only upper managements. - The company rules were very abusive to foreign employees during the pandemic. Basically the company decided that quarantine time (10 days) is deducted from the employees vacation balance or considered as unpaid leave. Few people were threatened they'd lose their jobs if they go home and get locked there because of covid. We were only allowed to work from home if it's in Norway. The justification we got from management was: "we're only following government advise". The company was very unsupportive during this period.

Inexperienced and dubious CEO and his entourage. Toxicity, nepotism, strange affairs and lack of morals. Huge turn over and ramping expenses + costs It’s quite frightening
