Pros

Opportunities to grow and learn in all aspects: genuine encouragement and support rendered. Accommodating: appreciate the flexibility and understanding given when situations arise.

Cons

There is really no ground for personal complaint/ grouse – as a slow n backward learner/ worker, am often given the chance to make good at own pace when possible/reasonable; seniors and mentors are constantly supportive and helpful.

Pros

Asia insight has a very strong company culture that shares a “one team’’ attitude, which is caring, and colleagues look out for one another. This company emphasis on team work and leadership skills. I have been with the company for more than 10 years. From a small role, I was given the opportunity to grow, learn and take on different roles with more responsibility. Although it is not an annual event, we do get to go on overseas incentive trips when the company does well. When my children suffered from HFMD and Chickenpox, the bosses allowed me to work from home during the 2 weeks so I can look after my kids at the same time.Nearly half of our team members had been with the company for more than 6 years. Some of our colleagues who had left the company for various reasons, have returned to work with the company.

Cons

Only team players who are willing to work hard and put in effort can succeed. When you are expecting a deadline, you need to get it out at all cost, and that means, working longer hours and sometimes over weekends

Pros

I see some others have written about poor work-life balance here. To me, this is quite the norm working in the research industry. It's also manageable if you optimise your efficiency and proficiency, plan head and manage your time properly. I've worked in other research firms and my hours here are much better comparatively. One of the best points of the company is that if you show yourself to be work keeping and developing (by way of having a team-oriented approach, teachable, aptitude for the work), there is no lack of opportunities. The company is willing to look at the strengths/ weaknesses of each person and tailor the career path to maximise the potential (in keeping with overall business needs, of course).

Cons

Being a small-sized company, there are areas where it will not be able to match up with MNCs since there are no economies-of-scale. things like formalised training courses, perks/ benefits etc. It's really just a matter of setting your expectations realistically.
