I worked at BancFirst full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are great supportive people to work with. Very knowledgeable and little turnover.

    Cons

Very little room for advancement in small communities.

    Advice to Management

Provide more training on actual work for loan department.

I worked at BancFirst full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Paid holidays, decent benefits, vacation days

    Cons

Very poor management, extreme sales tactics that are in poor taste, lack of training and very limited staff.

    Advice to Management

Don't play your employees against one another and don't think that because you are upper management you are above anything. Since I have left, I have notified anyone and everyone I know that this company is horrible to work for. Be your employees advocate and support their dreams. Also recognize that they have personal lives and it's pretty unrealistic for you to expect their personal lives to NEVER interfere with our work life. Life comes up and unfortunately it might just happen during the 40+ hours we are there.

I have been working at BancFirst full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Steady, dependable work, it's a very solid bank, you know your job is going to be there and the bank is not going to fold.

    Cons

Very little advancement, minimal raises, hardly any training after the initial class, doesn't seem like they really value their employees.

    Advice to Management

Throw the employees a bone every once in a while. It doesn't take much to raise moral.

I worked at BancFirst full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good training, decent opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

The branch I was assigned to was terrible. The managers gossiped about eachother, there was no teamwork type attitude, overall the leadership sucked.

    Advice to Management

This was years ago, but the upper management could have cleaned house at the NW Expressway location. Worst management I've ever experienced.
