I worked at Banorte full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They are doing well, and have a lot of ambitious projects to modernize the bank

    Cons

They are very political, it is specially interesing that when a head falls, all the people who were brought to Banorte by the person being fired, are also let go. It is the closest to Mexican governement operations I have seen in a private company

    Advice to Management

Do not hire IBM, be more daring!

    Pros

Stable place to work in and good work environment. It is the biggest local bank in Mexico. Mortgage benefits for employees are great.

    Cons

Not great pay and difícult to get promotions. It is not exactly the fairest place when it comes to bonuses.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Banorte full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very good place to learn and get experience, it has a good salary and compensations. If you come from Banorte, you are very attractive to other institutions.

    Cons

There's a lot of administrative work and not a lot of analysis or sales as they say there is. Your time goes by managing problems inside the office and not solving problems for clients.

    Advice to Management

There should be a simplified process of giving credit to clients, it is slow and difficult.

You will be close into a banking environment. Sometimes they pay you a decent amount. But not always.

They always use IT firms to get their employees, so, you don't have direct relationship with the company itself.

    Advice to Management

Recruit only specialized people. Have a minimum company culture standards. And know that the most important asset are you collaborators.
