    I have been working at Beavertails part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -discount food
    -good hours
    -tips
    -snacks all the time during shift

    Cons

    -extremely poor management
    -too cold in winter then too hot to the point where you want to pass out in summer

    Advice to Management

    make sure the manager of the booth actually cares about his employees and respects what they have to say, if all the staff have a problem there is obviously an issue with that staff

    You get to surround yourself with really awesome people and truly make life long friends in the process

    It can become very busy at times which will certainly develop your teamwork skills moving forward.

    Met lots of cool people, lots of opportunities for hours, half priced beavertails

    It's freezing in the winter, long lines, sometimes long shifts

    I have been working at Beavertails part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free beavertails, drinks, and smoothies. The atmosphere at work is very nice.

    Cons

    Something shift finishes at 3-4 a.m, during rush hours there can be up to 100 people waiting in line.

    I worked at Beavertails part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    50% off for food.
    Nice people to work with
    Work scheduled with your preference
    simple interview ( or none if you know someone who works there)
    Cancelled if raining

    Cons

    Rush all day
    extreme heat
    Manager telling you to go faster
    Dont accept debit card and visa card so a lot of trouble for cashier
    Long hours
    Newbies are always at the cash register
    bugs everywhere
    Finish past midnight if there's fireworks so metro are closed

    Put stronger air conditionner
    Its time to have some interact machine
    clean the machine

    Salary is poor beyond cashier level employees

    I worked at Beavertails part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    get to know how to multitask when there's a rush of customers
    work force is mostly students (where i worked) so lots of fun and teamwork
    managers are great and can takes jokes, although in general you shouldn't do anything too out of hand
    know how to deal with customers

    Cons

    if working at CNE expect to work at a fast pace and not make the wrong order
    food building = no air conditioning so don't wear too many layers
    expect that you may be working in front a fryer for a few hours
    lots of shouting so buy some cough drops
