Bad reputation with customers. Poor staff quality due to low pay. 401 K was CANCELED during my time there. Poor benefits overall.

    Pros

easy to be hired on. most people are really nice. job is easy

    Cons

project manager can be uptight. lots of rules about being a contractor for a federal business. you are constantly reminded you are just a contractor. when bvti representatives come to the job site, they do not say hello to all employees. the job you are hired on for may only be for a year, then you can lose your job. but no one will tell you until you are walked out. No Long Term Growth.

    Advice to Management

do not tell new hires they will be hired on by the federal employer.

I have been working at Best Value Technology full-time

    Pros

Love how they maintain the small-company culture while the company is growing significantly in the last few years. Management staff are helpful, "one-of-us", and encouraging of personal career growth opportunities. Company values are easy to sign-off on personally.

    Cons

Smaller company size has accompanying growing pains - have to be willing to be patient as they put more procedures and policies in place, but glad to see they're steadily working toward those goals.
