I have been working at Bezeq full-time

    Pros

You get to know some new stuff

    Cons

    1. Israeli customers are terrible.
    2. You always have to answer calls, like a slave.
    3. You are always being watched over by your supervisor.
    4. You are always encouraged (and sometimes, forced) to offer customers stuff they don't really need.
    5. If you don't perform well (answering enough calls, selling enough useless stuff, sending too many technicians to customers), your supervisor will annoy you 24/7.

I have been working at Bezeq full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible shifts, big organized company, lots of possible bonuses, possible ways to earn a raise or better position. Taxi on the house after 21 and in weekends. Payed initial course. Support and advice from the beginning.

    Cons

Hard, soul consuming grinding work of telephony support with customers, SLA bezeq-consumers conflicts resolutions. Little possibilities of advancement and strong concurrence among many workers. Non flexible organization policies, cutting edges at software level of and removing helping tools from technical support staff. For example removing programs that help you manage customer routers and putting instead of software that is not versatile as it predecessor.

    Advice to Management

Invest more resources in technical support tools, give remote management tools to every 166 agent not just the seniors. Improve your current software. Raise salaries of 166.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Bezeq full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I got the opportunity to manage very big systems (few do) and some of the people were good professional and pleasure to work with (also only few).
The yearly trip abroad is a bit unique and cool.

    Cons

Too much politics that harms improvements.
Really bad group managers that take really bad decision (CRM total catastrophy) .
Owner uses the investment money to cover the company buying loan - so they fire a lot of good people to reduce costs and us, the continued employees, do the jobs of 4 until collapse.

    Advice to Management

    1. reduce politics
    2. take a logical amount of work on your employees
    3. measure the systems not the employee
    4. pay more (as market and not less) and expect normal working hours and not 1.5 times more (as norm)
