I have been working at Bodycote full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very friendly people. I am very happy with the current culture of the company in the Dallas office. Payroll team is helpful and welcoming. The payroll manager is working to create a well oiled payroll department implementing more processes, objectives, and audits to help drive the department to excellence. The manager and team are caring and work together to get the job done each payroll week. Very team oriented group with fun and up beat personalities. As long as you come in and do your work and have a good attitude you can excel and have fun.

    Cons

Systems are a bit old and very manual but the company seems to be working on them. Only time will tell. Very open working environment.

    Advice to Management

    More system automation!

I worked at Bodycote full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very old antiquated systems and values, management is hostile and screams and talks down to employees. Terrible place to work and no training but you must adhere to her controlling ways or your out.

    Cons

Everything about the place is very old mentality, they ask for your input but very stuck in old antiquated ways. Not open to change or new ideas.

    Advice to Management

Get a new manager that is not a control freak and can empathize with employees.

    I worked at Bodycote full-time

    Pros

This is a really amazing opportunity if you have no experience and want to get into the HT industry. If you can go through torment for about a year to get the experience under your belt because you want to be in the HT industry then this job is really great.

The pay is nice if you have a applicable degree and pay is negotiable. Don't get ripped off by not getting paid at minimum **/hr. They will play hard ball.

    Cons

Honestly, the job itself is not that bad. Management is the source of the adversity in my opinion.

If you can't handle a utterly cumbersome work environment then RUN! ( This is a serious statement and I PRAY you take it seriously for your own benefit)

Expected to be on strict clock in and out schedule like you work at grocery store.

Interview process will be long, and repetitive. Be good at interviewing and have patience.

You will be micromanaged and tested.

You will be in an unorganized environment. Possess strong organizational skills and calm demeanor.

You will sit at a computer all day ( this is good and bad).

Notice, most/ almost all of the individuals have not been in the position longer than 6 months. All have transferred to various different departments or left the company.

    Advice to Management

    More connection between leadership

    Better work life balance

    Change management

    Pros

Co workers are great upper management promises things they don't deliver.

    Cons

You never really know what your job description is. No real consequences are set in place

    Advice to Management

Listen to the ones that actually do the work to make Bodycote successful. Fulfill your end of the agreement, don't expect employees to constantly prove theirselves.

    I worked at Bodycote full-time

    Pros

    Nothing good to say

    Cons

This is a TERRIBLE place to work. If you'd like to be just a number, completely expendable, amongst disloyal and back-stabbing leadership, join Bosycite. They will be sure to offer no growth opportunity, unreliable compensation packages and all around misery.

    Advice to Management

There is no hope for the current management team. Selfish, egotystical, arrogant liars.
