I have been working at Bottom Line Systems full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours, plenty room of advancement, quarterly bonus program, good pay, great sense of job security

    Cons

There aren't too many that come to mind

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! I've seen reviews that stated you don't get paid holidays, but that s not really true. They give you 21 days to cover 6 holidays plus 15 days of "PTO". That's more than what my last employer gave. I could not be happier here.

    Pros

Loved working at BLS. Co-workers were wonderful. Pay was good. Bonus was great.

    Cons

Need to not work for clients who won't follow compliance.
Management is a ridiculous joke. Only hire their buddys to promotions. Lots of "spies"...snitches. always feel like a hidden camera is on you

    Advice to Management

    Stop micro-managing.

    Pros

Great pay. Great PTO structure. Co-workers feel like family.

    Cons

Bonus structure could be structured better.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of poorly performing clients. Employees look forward to earning a bonus. When unable to earn a bonus, moral decreases.

I have been working at Bottom Line Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

What isn't there I can say about BLS? I have sees many facets of the company. Most everyone is willing to help. There is a lot of respect among colleagues and meaningful effort is expected. If you are looking for just a "job" this isn't your place.

The people are kind and hard working. The benefits are great and in my many connections with upper management, I know they truly care about every single employee. Management is very generous and giving, as reasonable as it can be expected. As the company grows, the ability to be so generous becomes more difficult, but there is still much effort that goes into making working for BLS a very pleasant experience.

Most of all, the schedules are accommodating for when life "just happens." It shows that BLS definitely values those who can be responsible with their time and talent. If you are willing to put forth the effort, you have lots of opportunity. If you are a good worker and valuable in various roles, BLS will find a good match for you where you can perform well.

    Cons

As with any company, only a few individuals seem to do most of the complaining. There are also some who take advantage of the system and abuse some of the extra benefits provided. I have worked for difficult employers before, and this is not one of them.

There are also those who don't value work that is being done by good employees, which can be frustrating. However, those individuals are the ones who don't take their work seriously, which in turn affects the rest. Still, these employees are few and far between. Not everyone is appreciative of the great efforts that admin and management put forth.

Other than this, there are only the typical workplace frustrations in which better planning by one or two could make life less difficult than it needs to be. The company is growing and it is necessary to keep up with changing standards not only with corporate but with the healthcare industry too. It is just the nature of the line of business. There are always a few that aren't on board.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Continue to be mindful of the employees, the positions they hold, and stay current on recognizing their value. There is great recognition of talent in this company and significant opportunity for individual growth. Keep in mind it is necessary to stay competitive in order to retain good talent. Continue investing into the workforce, which is definitely appreciated and which will produce many happy employees.

I have been working at Bottom Line Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, located in great location. Not a huge company. CEO seems to care about employees. They have a bonus program which is nice.

    Cons

Way underpaid. Management doesn't acknowledge those who deserve the raises and praise. Instead they show favoritism towards people who do nothing to make the company better. It's very sad.

    Advice to Management

    Do better!!
