Webcide.com Reviews
Apr 30, 2017 - Operations Manager in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I worked as the CEO and Managing Director of Webcide.com Cyber Reputation Department . They develop sophisticated cyber tools for removing negative information from the Internet . In the 18 months I worked there and lead the HighTech dept , we removed permanently Negative Search Results from Google , including : lawsuits records , bankruptcy, legal issues , negative articles, negative comments, negative customer complaints, scam reports , fraud alerts ,arrest records ,negative blogs , negative forum posts , negative mentioning ,negative reviews , images and videos , for thousands of clients . It was an excellent place to work at , and was lucky to found them and work for them .
Cons
They developed an advanced online PR network , for promoting 'negative online campaign' on behalf of hedge fund managers , activist short sellers , and politicians . This was legal , but devastating .

Cool place - not for most people
Aug 23, 2014 - Dont Want to Say in Philadelphia, PARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Very cool work environment, loud music (sometimes maybe too loud), food, drinks, beer on Fridays (usually). I work in the Curtis Center so you can see Independence Hall out of the window and walk to South Street or nightclubs after work. I love my coworkers. They are some of the smartest people I ever worked with. I like the technology a lot. People work hard. The place is definitely moving in the right direction and I think I am going to make a lot of money next year. I like my boss and the CEO talks to me a lot. He is really smart and he dropped what he was doing and helped me solve a tough problem. You don't see that at most companies. They give stock to everyone.
Cons
Hard to get hired. They are very picky and turn away most people. Don't be surprised if you feel like the interview didn't go well. Interview process can be really tough. Not very corporate which is good and bad. Lots of perks but they need to add more benefits. I was told we are getting a 401k but I think we should have had that already. They make decisions fast which means you rarely get much notice for big changes.

Pros
Terrible place to work at
Cons
Was terribly run and now out of business

Pros
I am a full-time Brand.com employee and I really like it here. The staff is made of extremely intelligent and competent people. Those who can not hold their own and are negative to change will not last very long here. Great startup companies like Brand.com take time to mature; huge growth does not happen over night. I have also learned great problem solving skills in my time here that I would not have recieved working for any other company and I do appreciate that.
Cons
Some outsiders may view the fast pace of this company as a negative attribute, but take the time to learn more about the company and they will find they are mistaken. Any given startup company may appear "unorganized" at times, but this only means that there are major changes underway for the better. Employees either need to understand this or leave. Because the company exists at a fast pace, there will be times where communication is lost for a bit. It is management's job to keep communication alive and well. There have been a number of different measures taken recently to keep all employees in the loop. The atmosphere here has changed significantly in the past couple of months-but I honestly believe it is for the better. Negative employees who cannot understand the larger picture and hold others working for the company back, will be cut.

They write their own reviews, let's get real .. they scam in everything they do
Oct 27, 2014 -RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There is no "best" reasons to work here, except for maybe the first week you actually think you're working at the best company ever. Laid back environment, alcohol, flat screen tv's, fully stocked kitchen, you think it couldn't get better than this. That's how they get you in the door, it changes FAST.
Cons
If I had to write every con for this place, i'd have a published novel. The CEO of this company is a disgusting individual, research him for yourself, you'll see. The president of this company is his puppet who treats his employees like animals rather than human beings. They scam their customers and their employes from day 1. They lie and make false promises that never ever come true. To top it off, they write their own reviews on glassdoor! That's what they do as a company, build online reputations! So don't believe the positive that you are reading here, it's their inside employees being paid to write it! You will be asked to work ridiculous hours, go to extreme measures, and will be given a set of unrealistic expectations to be paid in pennies. Brand.com will be out of business in no time.

Brand.com - Un-Stable Work Environment and Mis-Treating Employees
Mar 23, 2014 -RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Brand.com provides some opportunities to further your career. The items that want you to complete for the compensation they offer is unfair. The responsibilities management does not want to do, you will end up completing. If you are looking for an unstable, illegitimate, un professional and money hungry management, here is where you begin your search.
Cons
They lied since day 1. They were dishonest in the offer letter. I was denied compensation when it was righteously was mine. Rules changes at Brand.com everyday, many rule changes are made not in the employees favor but rather for management to "save money". They provides prospective employees with lucrative incentives such as happy hours, lunch in and a $1,000 chair. That is not important, but rather having brand.com treat you with respect and fairly compensating you, (that won't happen)

Brand.com Management and Strategy make the changes necessary to evolve with ever-changing industries
Sep 15, 2014 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I really enjoy my co-workers. I have found it easy to raise ideas and concerns with superiors, which has fostered a very collegial atmosphere around the office. At some of our end of the week wrap-ups, we have beer which is a nice way to end the work week. I have been able to take on bigger projects than I am used. This is great for me personally because it trains me to learn more skills and take on greater responsibility.
Cons
The hours are okay. The company wants to help people. It was nice to shift away from the brand management focus to the new platform, but it forced me to learn a lot of new policies, programs, etc. more quickly than I was able to digest. So that was a bit difficult.

Great Potential but Needs to PRO-Actively Foster Talent to Succeed
Apr 7, 2014 -RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great location. Extremely talented people here and a great team of senior execs, management, and other staff in all departments. Amazingly energetic and motivational vibe especially on the Sales floor. Inspiring and insightful short 9am meetings voiced directly from President and Senior Management every morning. When I first started here, I embraced and thrived on fast-paced vibe at the office. Seven months later, I'm not feeling that same energy. However, I will stay optimistic and aspire for success as much as possible.
Cons
High employee turnover rate... sadly, this must be a symptom or consequence of something that is missing from the puzzle. I do not know what that missing piece is. Also, Corporate Training has not been relevant nor beneficial to me at all... but I am only speaking for myself. I hope that Corporate Training has been beneficial for others at this company.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - AGAIN !!!!!
Nov 22, 2014 - Strategist in Philadelphia, PARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The office environment used to be the best part about working here. Coworkers are nice and we are al in the same boat.
Cons
BRAND.COM is the most UNSTABLE COMPANY there is. They have even self posted "All startups have issues, Brand.com just has less than everyone else". THIS IS AN OBVIOUS ATTEMPT TO JUSTIFY THE STRUGGLES THEY ARE HAVING. The MANAGEMENT TEAM is stupid enough to post under "Con" that the company is 'FUNDED WEEKLY' BY OUTSIDE INVESTORS. They are complete morons as they have just admitted the company has no money. I mean, what start-up company is funded weekly??? Do a little research on your own and you will find out the original founder is the only person funding this company.

New CEO is All Smoke and Mirrors
Nov 7, 2014 - Online Brand Consultant in Philadelphia, PARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great sales pitch to bring on new hires. Appearance of a large VC backed company. Free coffee and snacks for employees. Free beer on Fridays.
Cons
Everything! Former company president was fired for incompetence. New CEO has demonstrated the same incompetence. He is continuing the tradition of screwing over company employees in the same way as his predecessor. The technology is a scam. They claim to provide analytics with a subscription. This is a lie. They came media on demand. This is a lie. They claim top level publishers. This is a lie. The recently opened NYC office is just for show. They are renting short term, temporary office space to give the appearance of a larger company. Company funding through Venture Capitalist does not exist. VC companies are running away fast as they want nothing to do with Brand.com. Promises to employees are continually broken on a daily basis. Job cuts happen weekly.
