    Pros

Easy going company. Great place to relax. Great looking products.

    Cons

Management is ignorant and does nothing to improve employee moral. They are out of touch with reality of the company and seems lost. Low pay, no company culture. No room for growth.

I worked at Brasstech full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent product with a loyal following
    Knowledgable and eager Sales team
    Quality has improved significantly
Launched numerous new products over the last 4 years

    Cons

Senior Management has highly questionable business ethics with regard to their products.
Product Managers do not manage product lines - they are project managers. There are too many "chefs" managing the product portfolio kitchen that a PM cannot make any changes whatsoever without a committee meeting, months of analysis, then more meetings.
Operations and Engineering staffing was not increased to keep up with double digit sales goals which has impacted new product development as well as standard product lead times. Even "me too" and "slam dunk" products take over 2 years to launch.
With the closure of the MASCO Product Design Group, expect new product development to languish for the next several years.

    Advice to Management

Remove unethical business leaders from the ranks.
Hire more employees to keep up with the growth you demand.
Eliminate products that are not profitable.
Stop wasting time with the analysis paralysis approach to business.

    Pros

close to home. fellow employees are mostly pleasant.

    Cons

poor vision, poor communication. Lack of effective improvement. Mgt leads from the top down without benefit of "utilizing" employee input. unable to think outside the established/entrenched status quo. difficult to complete simple tasks with round about band-aid processes.

    Advice to Management

seek out and better utilize employee input.

    Pros

Great people, small company feel, with the advantages of being part of a Fortune 500 company. (Benefits primarily) . Management seems to be genuinely interested in the well being of each employee.

    Cons

Small Company feel, with the disadvantages of being part of a Fortune 500 company. (Many things take LOTS of time. More than necessary.) A better training programs needs to be implemented. Vast differences between Supervisors.
