Toxic management and poor work-life balance prevail

Pros

- Good people (besides c-suite)

Cons

Where to begin... - Poor management - CEO runs everything based on popularity, hires her friends who have no experience and they magically get multiple promotions a month in - Terrible work/life balance (even though that is one of the "perks") - Belittling during team meetings when concerns are brought up - Shady practices Overall a terrible place to work.

Pros

Strong Work-Life Balance - 4-hour Fridays & unlimited vacation (subject to manager approval); - Flexibility and trust from management; Exceptional Team & Leadership; - Highly skilled, collaborative Development and Product teams; - Supportive and understanding managers. Positive Company Evolution - Adaptability to change over the years; - Willingness to improve policies (e.g., vacation flexibility). Autonomy & Ownership - Freedom to innovate and take initiative; - Encouragement for professional growth. Loyalty & Longevity - 8-year tenure speaks to job satisfaction and stability.

Cons

Room for Even More Benefits - The pros still far outweigh the cons, but adding RRSP matching would make an already great workplace even more competitive and employee-focused.

Pros

After five years as a Software Test QA, I can say it's been fantastic. The work-from-home setup is a game changer for flexibility. The hours allow for a fulfilling life outside work, making work-life balance a reality. Team Dynamics and Support The team is highly collaborative and supportive. Management is consistently helpful and transparent, keeping you informed. Opportunities for Growth If you're eager to learn, opportunities are plentiful. You won't feel trapped in the same role. If these aspects resonate with you, I highly recommend this company.

Cons

While this isn’t a drawback, working remotely requires taking the initiative to stay connected. Our team helps by hosting casual Google Meet sessions and running a "Coffee Collision" initiative, where you can meet colleagues for coffee and collaboration.
