    3 blocks away from Dart Rail, helps if you are having transportation issues.

    Cons

    Very mundane culture, very few employees are happy to work there.

    Advice to Management

    Care more about your employees. A lot of good people are let go for the sake of "cutting costs".

    Pros

    The people in the trenches at our location were great. The fellow employees for the most part were great to work with, with limited exceptions

    Cons

    Outside our location, is where the lunacy started. From attempting to get the staff to do the work of 5x the number of people or more, to the constant overhang threat of jobs being sourced to Ingram Micro's overseas shops, it was a nightmare. Eventually that was exactly what happened.

    Advice to Management

    If you stay in the field, find somewhere else to go, to the new owners you're little more than contracts that we know will not be re-upped with the terrible service going on now.

    Great opportunity to work with people from all over the world. You were stretched - but you learned a lot. Management shared rewards with employees.

    Cons

    Took on more than they could handle at times. Very fast paced, minimal work life balance. Not for everyone.

    Pros

    It's monotonous for the most part, which can be a pro or a con. Pro because sometimes you want a part-time that you don't have to think about while you do personal work that you enjoy. It's also pretty easy work, but it's not the kind of thing anyone ever wants to do for years of their life.

    Cons

    Temp hires mostly, so if you're looking for a long-term position, you've got to work very, very, very hard to get hired. Monotonous, which on the con side really means that you're brain will go nearly flat-line from the repetition. Co-workers can be challenging, but usually for every unpleasant employee there's one worth talking to.

    Advice to Management

    Well, the company has since been taken over by Ingram-Micro, so I can't really say what it's like anymore. However, I did recently speak with an employee I knew from this job, and that person said that things are much worse under Ingram-Micro, and described the management as "impersonal" and "cheap."

    Take that as you will.

    The fast paced environment is ideal for a motivated individual.
    The compensation is competitive with the industry average.

    Cons

    Work life balance in the reverse logistics part for hourly associates needs to improve. 90% of the time employees are required to work weekends.

    Advice to Management

    Need to focus on the longevity of the employees. Satisfied employees, especially middle management=Low turnover=Less new hire costs.
