I have been working at Brightway Insurance full-time

    Pros

At Brightway, leadership tells us that the sky is the limit. It's true. We're a young company, doing what no other company has ever done. If you want to build a great career, just use your smarts, work hard and you'll get ahead.

    Cons

None. Those that I think are cons I bring up and they are resolved.

I worked at Brightway Insurance full-time

    Pros

Most of the team leads are knowledgeable and friendly, multiple schedule options, decent benefits

    Cons

The higher ups and some lower level managers are pure terrors, they lord power like it makes them a god or something. Favoritism EVERYWHERE! Mandatory overtime on Saturdays.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring people with no insurance experience for such a busy call center environment and STOP PLAYING FAVORITES.

I worked at Brightway Insurance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy access to training guide online. Phone number for help desk. No punch card or time card. One hour for lunch.

    Cons

Worked for Brightway Preston Trail. I was promised salary plus commission when hired. I sold to my own friends and family and then was fired. I was never paid a penny for any of my commissions on any of my closings. At this location he has his licensed agents do all the paperwork under his license and his name only, not your own. He then promises you will still be paid your commission miraculously through TriNet. He hires licensed agents to do all the work then steals your money and moves on to the next victim / employee. I'm sorry to be so negative but this was my experience.

    Advice to Management

Do what's right and don't treat your employees like this. We are people just like you.

    Pros

Capable people, everyone on my team is a hard worker and enlightened communicator

Values, their product is needed and they conduct fair business. I feel they are good to their Agency Owners and customers.

Growth, I'm motivated to do a great job at work because I can envision the effects of what I do today on the company's success in 5, 10, 30 years!

Benefits, We're given a great life balance with plenty of PTO and wellness programs. Brightway invests in their people.

    Cons

The office space is okay, but could be a little more comfortable and inspiring, and there are opportunities for equipment upgrades in several departments.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for believing in your people! As a growing company - keep an eye on Silicon Valley and innovators in the industry so we can stay ahead.
