    Pros

The company listens to their employees. I have seen management change decisions after realizing how the decision effected the employees. I have also seen the company make decisions after hearing suggestions from the employees to create a better experience for their clients.

    Cons

They are serious about customer service and you will be held accountable. If you do not value the clients expectations you will have a difficult time succeeding.

It is truly a place where you can build a team around you. There are parameters set around you and resources in place to help you succeed should you be up to the challenge.

    Cons

Not a place where you can hide without doing your work.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work (providing opportunities for goal oriented individuals)

There are enormous opportunities that can be had, you just have to take the initiative to pursue them. It's a very rewarding industry, and there are a lot of fun people to work with , especially on the property side.

There is a lot of work, but it's very rewarding

    Pros

if you are truly a self starter and want to excel quickly with hard work, then this is the place! B&R is a very flexible company and you can carve your own path.

    Cons

There is not a lot of hand holding or tight structure so if consistent guidance and procedures are what you need, then this is not the place for you.

    Pros

Great Atmosphere, teamwork is a true indication of how things run. Great networking opportunities, and great benefits. Easy to assimilate and understand your role and how to further advance your career

    Cons

The operating system that is used across the company isn't the greatest in the world, shuts down halting work occasionally.

    Advice to Management

Keep growing the company, bringing in young talent and training them in house. It is crucial to get younger employees on track to succeed and want to succeed.

I have been working at Brown & Riding full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The benefits here are substantial, each office seems to have good, solid people in them who are talented, fun and easy to work with & the environment is professional but also laid back. I'm thankful for a career here with Brown & Riding!

    Cons

Some of the company meetings and trainings get a little excessive on length, but are usually pretty informative and helpful. Not all the states that Brown & Riding has offices in have medical plans that are based in that home state and so the lack of preferred providers is worrisome

    Advice to Management

Can you please try to keep company meeting times & trainings as abbreviated as possible?
Can you also please work on having our personal medical plans be based in our home states so that we can count on a much larger number of preferred providers - It's otherwise hard on the budget!

    Pros

THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED FOR. LONG HOURS and ridiculous management (who will yell at you in an open area). NEVER ENDING WORKLOAD

    Cons

    NO CONS FOR THIS COMPANY.
    Low Pay long hours.

    Pros

Benefits are good and very flexible with your schedule. Nice company to work for

    Cons

There is a lack of communication amongst the company which can lead to some confusion and lack of knowledge as to how to grow with the company.

    Advice to Management

There should be more communication amongst the teams and within the team in regards to decision making. This would be helpful to the younger employees.

    Pros

Great company with good people, good benefits, and good networking opportunities. Some upper management is extremely helpful when you reach out about concerns.

    Cons

Sometimes promotions seem to be underserved for some people and deserved for people who have not received one. Need to have a clear vision for employees coming in working on a certain team so everyone is on the same page and can add value

    Advice to Management

Help people find a team with the right fit to increase company value and team value.
