This company is a rarity in Asheville - great business concept, smart people, progressive ideas, and a fun company culture. This is a relatively new start-up company that is always looking for ways to increase productivity and develop new product offerings. This isn't a stale operation. Thus the culture is one of open debate and aggressive action. This type of atmosphere is great for ambitious, smart people that aren't afraid to think outside the box. I have been here for 5+ years and I can say that this is a great place to work if you are trying to raise a family. The maternity and paternity leave policies are tremendous and the managers are always willing to work with you to make sure you are able to put family first. Working in this type of environment is a real blessing. BuildFax also makes an effort to coordinate fun company events, whether it's a team bowling outing or giving back to the community by volunteering at the local food bank. You can tell this is an important part of the company culture.
