Pros

Funding from Silicon Valley (which they're burning quickly)

Cons

On the surface everything looks good and perfect but when you work here and get into the details of the business and product you quickly realize the massive holes in this business. The main issue is that the company does not understand the industry and does not have a product fit. They have an idealistic view of disrupting the bus industry but they can't control quality of service or pricing with the bus companies they sign up. Clients book and then we had to scramble to find the buses, frequently having no clue at all what kind of bus we were getting the client. If a client had a bad experience there was absolutely no way to really know. Then they had to look outside of the companies they had agreements with to fulfill last minute requests. The founders are smart guys and have good intention but cover up the fact to employees, clients and investors that they haven't figured out the industry at all. They're constantly blindsided by the lack of knowledge of how bus companies operate in different territories. Consistently putting out fires is not fun. Which is why repeat business is rare.

Pros

a few senior hires and advisors have arrived that are needed. maybe a little too late.

Cons

On the front end it's all smoke and mirrors. They have good web designing skills and know how to market. They exaggerate on the customers and events. For example they say hundreds of thousands of clients, When really it's only a few and they turn every passenger that were indirectly serviced as a "customer". They show off with brands that have received quotes and/or booked once and label them as their clients on the website. They list 3,000+ buses but this is a huge lie. They don't operate any buses and just say that we have possible relationships with X bus companies and multiply that by however many buses the company has and claim ownership of the buses. this is misrepresentation and borderline fraud. then they put up fake reviews everywhere. The people in the company know and talk. But when you don't treat your employees well just make sure your hands are clean. The owners have shifted the business model about 10 times since launch. First one brand then another. it feels they pivot based on what side of the bed they woke up on. they competitive landscape is so difficult and they seriously don't know how to manage the bus operators. Unfortunately customers are promised great service.
