I worked at CAL State LA part-time

    Pros

For financial reasons, it is a great way to help pay off a significant portion of the tuition while enrolled as a student. Academically, it helps reinforce knowledge of the subjects which you are helping teach to the students. It also feels great helping students overcome hurdles in the learning process. Some of the professors and administrators are very pleasant to work with.

    Cons

A few professors are not easy to work with. Grading can be very tedious, but that is part of the job.
