Employee-friendly culture but toxic local management dynamics

Pros

Employee friendly organisation, the organisation is flexible as per needs of employees. Good growth opportunities and lot of initiatives by management to give employees required exposure for growth.

Cons

Local plant management makes everything about them personally, if you please them with yes sir to everything they say you are a good employee. One is not allowed to speak truth rather if one speaks to please even if one is not worth they will go long way or else be ready to face humiliation.

Pros

* Well-defined work policies just on paper * Supportive peers in some teams

Cons

* Clear gap between documented policies and actual implementation — managers frequently override them * Leadership mindset in some teams appears outdated and misaligned with the expectations of a modern workforce, contributing to attrition among newer employees * Lack of empathy in people decisions, including instances where pregnant employees were expected to work from office regardless of circumstances, even within HR teams * Employees are pressured or questioned for taking legitimate leave or WFH, sometimes linked to appraisals or confirmation * Concerns around professionalism, within senior HR managers informally speaking negatively about their reportees * Company-wide engagement surveys are conducted annually, yet HR team scores continue to decline and no one cares as it has become a tick mark activity to get the survey filled by forcing people just to showcase 100% completion report * Noticeable lack of gender diversity at leadership levels, raising concerns about inclusivity and representation report *Flexibility and hybrid culture depends on the manager and In headoffice this culture is hardly seen * lack of internal growth as its a flat organization *bias in internal job movements
