I have been working at CSU Fullerton part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is convenient schedule for also being a masters student.
Teaching can help you review introductory physics/astronomy topics.
I was pleasantly surprised that seeing students learn felt as rewarding people say it is.

    Cons

Sometimes grading is tedious (particularly for the astronomy lab). Pay could be a bit better compared to other schools (UCs for example), but CSU tuition is also less than a UC.

    Advice to Management

    Doing a good job overall.

I worked at CSU Fullerton (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours to do research on my own or group. Fill in timesheet by myself and as long as the progress justifies the filled-in hours, it is all good.

    Cons

I guess it depends on who you work for. In my case, I didn't experience any real cons.

I have been working at CSU Fullerton part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy to work with, and supportive faculty! You will typically work with your specific department most of the time, making your experience very personal and enjoyable as you get accustomed to one another.

    Cons

Some of the automation in regards to documents and information transferring between levels of faculty is a little slow/cluttered. Expect delays when you first begin. It is difficult to get to know the other faculty since the school is so large.

    Advice to Management

Try to modernize some resources and other day-to-day services to make things clearer and easier for any faculty, both new and old.
