California State University Fullerton is a nice commuter school, scenery looks great to do assignments.

- 1.0Nov 28, 2023Senior Academic AdministratorCurrent Employee, more than 8 yearsFullerton, CA
Pros
Good benefits and salary; good location.
Cons
A lot of racial bias and favoritism related to putting representation of the underrepresented first. If you are white, probably should not apply to work here.
- 1.0Nov 16, 2023ProgrammingCurrent Employee
Pros
The scheduling in this position was good.
Cons
There is a huge issue with management being disorganized. It's very much a girl's club and if it's not done their way they get upset. They tend to belittle you or make it seem like they came up with the idea put in all the work and the issues or problems are your fault when they change their mind constantly and give varying answers,
- 1.0Oct 19, 2023Office of AdmissionsCurrent Employee
Pros
The coworkers are too good for this office.
Cons
The pay inequity is the absolute worst I have ever encountered. New hires who are brought on the team after you WILL make more than you for the exact same position. They will make claims to fix it or make it right but it is always an empty promise. The “Leadership” team in the Office of Admissions is the worst management team I have ever worked for. They play favorites, lack accountability, and are overall immature and underdeveloped. They will divert all blame to “old management” from years ago when it is clear they are the problem. If you were a student assistant you will be put on the fast track to success, anyone else good luck.

Can be a little slow but that's fine for a student

Pros
My first job in an office setting and I was able to learn a lot of skills relating to clerical work. Was also able to work around my class schedules.
Cons
Most of the faculty in my department did not come in to the office. I only communicated with many of them through email.
