Pros

You'll quickly learn how to solve problems without expecting much guidance from leadership. Great environment for building resilience and adapting to constantly changing processes. Strong training in navigating ambiguity and figuring things out on your own. Opportunity to strengthen communication skills by following up multiple times for answers and decisions. You'll become highly resourceful when working with limited support and direction. Teaches accountability, as employees are often expected to find solutions regardless of the obstacles presented. Provides valuable experience in managing expectations during periods of organizational change and acquisition. Coworkers are often supportive and willing to help each other when formal support channels fall short.

Cons

Communication can be inconsistent. Decision-making processes are often unclear. Expectations may not always align with available resources and support. Frequent process changes can create confusion and inefficiencies. Leadership responsiveness may vary significantly depending on the situation. Employee concerns are not always addressed in a timely manner.

Pros

They provide equipment when asked.

Cons

Overall Experience My experience at CUI Cable was defined by instability, poor communication, and a complete lack of respect for employees. While the industry itself has potential, the way this company operates makes it extremely difficult for anyone to succeed or feel secure in their role. Leadership & Treatment of Employees Leadership consistently demonstrated that employees are disposable. The most blatant example: I submitted a standard two‑weeks notice, and instead of honoring it, the company terminated me the same day. No conversation, no transition plan, no professionalism — just an immediate dismissal. This wasn’t an isolated incident. CUI Cable also terminated every remote worker with zero heads-up. No warning, no courtesy, no time to prepare. People woke up employed and went to bed unemployed. That level of disregard speaks volumes about the company’s values. Communication & Structure Communication is inconsistent at best and nonexistent at worst. Processes change without notice, expectations shift daily, and employees are often left guessing what leadership wants. There is no real structure, no clear direction, and no accountability from the top. Work Environment The environment is chaotic and reactive. Instead of building systems, leadership relies on last‑minute decisions that create unnecessary stress for everyone. The lack of planning and transparency makes it impossible to feel supported or confident in your role.

Pros

Your work schedule is very flexible in terms of when you start and end your day. Its up to you to decide how much you want to work and earn per day.

Cons

Your schedule is also very inconsistent and some days you'll wake up in the morning to get ready for work but then realize there's not enough jobs available for you so you end up staying home and looking for other jobs like I am now.
