I worked at CUI Cable full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The only pro is you get paid and if it's accurate pay then consider yourself lucky!

    Cons

Prepare for no life and if you are married, prepare for a divorce because this job will try to own you! 12-14 hr days with unpaid down time waiting on your next job time-frame. Lie and ask to do extra work for me today, and I'll compensate you next week, but you'll never see it.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and pay them properly. Give incentive to do better work. Better training = better employee. Don't forget safety!

I worked at CUI Cable full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent money. Personally every 2 weeks about 1500 dollar pay checks. Co workers were cool and my supervisor was always helpful.

    Cons

Hours are long if you have a family, but it's manageable. Attic work in the summer can be a little rough.

    Advice to Management

Gas cards for technicians instead of reimbursing them a month later.

    Pros

Coworkers are great, customers are usually happy to see you, very flexible with scheduling and lots of freedom during your route.

    Cons

Lack of route planning, often have to go back and forth wasting gas and time, paid in piece rate and rarely paid for office time or gas.

    Advice to Management

Develop a better system for pay and possibly a benefits package as an incentive for people to stay. Invest in employees. Kudos to team leaders and trainers for going the extra step.

I worked at CUI Cable full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They keep you busy and offer progressive training opportunities. Decent piece rate pay combined with good management made my experience here fairly smooth.

    Cons

Sometimes during the busy time of the year, its hard to get a day off. MSOs change billing codes and rules frequently which can sometimes make getting paid accurately confusing.
