great first major label job
Feb 15, 2022 - Promotion Coordinator in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
great UMG benefits (student loan assistance, wifi and phone bil reimbursement, great 401k option, etc. etc.), good coworkers. clear expectations and a culture of directness; one thing i really like about my time at capitol is that when i make a mistake, i get notified about it asap, and we move on accordingly. it speaks to the nature of the company that so many of their people have been with capitol for decades, and i loved the people i get to work with.
Cons
as the sole new york entry level employee, it has been hard to network and feel included with all the events / meetings / social aspects of working at the Capitol Tower. i was onboarded about three months before the covid-19 pandemic, so i definitely had even less of a chance to spend time with my coworkers in person.

Pros

Cons
I do not have a con.
