    Pros

Cardworks is a pleasant and laid-back work environment. They offer flexible hours and a family friendly company attitude. Your come workers become a second family! And having holidays off is great.

    Cons

Paying for parking is the worst part. Being in Station Square is a bonus. There's beautiful views of the Pittsburgh skyline.

I worked at CardWorks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

kind of laid back environment, great benefits, coworkers are nice for the most part

    Cons

micro managing from upper management, paid parking, new hires come on the floor with base knowledge and it puts strain on the rest of their employees who are then asked for help by those new hires and it just creates chaos, there is limited assistance for other departments that are not customer service, cardworks does not follow their own policies set forth in their online help regulations, they have a high turn over rate due to the fact that they do not invest further time in the process, they will say one thing and do another, raises are minimal and they will do anything they can to screw you out of bonuses,

    Advice to Management

change the way you do things, if you have dedicated reliable people do not get rid of them on technicalities, you cant keep good people because you do not run a good buisness. re evaluate your training process especially in your security department as you have employees relying on veterans who get hurt if they stop to help them. Lastly understand that your employees are people too and not machines.

    Pros

Incentives, some of the people are nice and helpful, clean and nice looking building, dealing with different clients and having a better idea of the industry in different areas.

    Cons

FAVORTISM! Yes every job has favoritism but my my my does this place treat their employees unfairly, some of their employees. Management sends distasteful emails to their reps as if they're their children or in grade school! They're not flexible with their hours even if you show them your school schedule. The training is horrible! New hires often come out on the floor knowing nothing! So sad

    Advice to Management

Show credit where credit is due. You're losing and will
Continue to lose great associates of you don't change your ways, yes we're easily replaced but it makes the company look bad when more than half of your associates aren't reaching their goals every month.

I worked at CardWorks (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lax training (in fact drinking was actually encouraged on your lunch breaks), paid training, 10% shift differential for all shifts worked after 6 P.M.

    Cons

Affirmative action company so if you're white you're treated like you don't exist, preferential treatment, incompetent management, too much political and religious talk (I always thought those were topics you were supposed to avoid at the workplace).

    Advice to Management

Do your jobs (or know what you're doing at least), have competent people in positions of power, stop playing the race card
