I think this company has really good culture. The people I worked with were incredible, thoughtful, and just good smart human beings. If you are looking for an agile workplace to test your technical skills, this is the best place for you. In terms of robotics companies, they are a quiet industry leader, pay well, and don't try to burn you out
Cons
My issue was mostly with higher level management. I ran into multiple times promises of mentorship and honesty about performance...only to be criticized for not meeting expectations that were never set or discussed. It's incredibly frustrating to be expected to be a top performer when the initial expectation was they were going to mentor and teach you through the job.
Everything is privately owned and managed by the owners who, are themselves, very technical people. As such, the company focuses on the technology we work on and produce rather than rapid growth, arbitrary metrics, or looking like a good investment. This creates a great, low-stress environment for almost everyone who works here.
Cons
The company lacks in areas which a high-growth company would be able to focus on. Because we don't have access to large amounts of external capital, we operate with relatively minimal resources, and there are very strong ceilings one can quickly run into if trying to expand their career.
