I have been working at Catholic Health System part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

All are very helpful at start. Easy going pace and good salary.
Everybody has their own job to do and doing it perfectly.

    Cons

Sometimes it gets too slow. There is so much to walk when it gets busy. Constantly pushing and pulling the carts.

    Advice to Management

There is always a chance to improve. Day by day we are getting better to best.

I have been working at Catholic Health System part-time

    Pros

Pay on time; mostly clean but older parts are not

    Cons

Hiding behind religion when instead this is a cut-throat corporation that cares little to nothing about employees, and not so much for patients as evidenced by the cut-backs of nurses, aides, ancillary staff - who are the 'heart and soul' of healthcare. The more the employees give, the less corporate cares. They abuse employees by piling more and more responsibility on a few so they can get rid of many, so the higher-ups can make their 100-500 million dollars.

Big changes seem to be still coming as a lot of the older, more sympathetic people are being ousted.

Heartless antics with a team of lawyers all ready to pounce and turn on employees.

    Advice to Management

It will fall on deaf ears; there is not enough money in the world to get their attention.

I have been working at Catholic Health System full-time

    Pros

great benefits and most employees are nice to work with, again depending on the department/location you work in.

    Cons

The HR Department, sadly is not the same as it previously used be, the new HR Service Center is a call center that you are constantly being yelled at by employees as they have repeat the same situation/issue to another HR Specialist and sometimes takes days to get an answer or call back.

I worked at Catholic Health System full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Tight-knit crew, small community hospital. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

    Cons

Management can be top-down, does not always listen to nurses' voices. They put on airs that they value nurses, but management style does not reflect this.

    Advice to Management

    Truly listen to nurses.
