    Neutral Outlook

    Pros

Meh.. A job that paid the bills - barely. It was not horrible but more neutral and forgettable.

    Cons

Not a lot of substance to retain employees. If something better is available, there is nothing to make you want to stay.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Cellular One full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I loved working with customers and offering customer service to assure that they were happy with their purchase and experience with the company ,and will be returning.

    Cons

Competing with other sales associates to earn bonuses and achieve the wanted sales goals and commissions to earn rate of pay. It was an exciting experience but had times that were more challenging and more difficult to achieve corporate expectations.

    Advice to Management

Make sure that the customer is totally aware of what they purchased, how to use it , that it is right for their needs , and that they understand what they are getting and what they are going to be charged for.

I worked at Cellular One (More than a year)

    Pros

Very good online training program and fellow workers very helpful. Oftern entry level people are hired, and nangement helps to mentor them

    Cons

Sales is very difficult in a resort area dependent upon the weather.Local residents are challenged as well and may not spend money during uncertain times.
The pressure to make your numbers for those new to sales is high.

I have been working at Cellular One full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Small work groups, very short chain of command, low site numbers (25-30)

    Cons

No budget, no trust of employees, poor management, no room for advancement. Too many types of equipment...ie. (Nokia old and new 2 and 3G, Ericsson, Nortel, Huawei) Had to purchase my own tools.

    Advice to Management

Give your employees incentive to go above and beyond. Do not be afraid to give something other than criticism. Provide what you agree to provide.
