Pros

Management is very lenient with sick time/vacation time, good work-life balance, casual work environment, small company, excellent place to work if you're one of the favorites

Cons

Strong clique/inner circle, which can make it feel like you're in a high school movie playing "he-said-she-said". Quite a bit of favoritism going on; alternately, obvious and persistent antagonism of people who the inner circle don't like. Very poor communication between management and the rest of the company, leading to poor morale throughout teams and extreme disorganization. The company is subject to decisions made on a whim, which means no one really knows what's going on at any given time.

Cool product, mismanagement is the norm.

Pros

Great and unique product with an impressive client list. Fun and upbeat environment with cool office perks. Strong desire company wide to serve their clients.

Cons

The mismanagement is pretty severe. Constant changes but no real results. Things will be overhauled, only to go back to where they started. Even though I truly believe the leadership team has good intentions, a culture of micromanagement, babysitting and mistrust are the way of things. A case can be made that some employees need it, but when folks across the board are treated like high schoolers, problems ensue. In my opinion, this is a big driver of the fact that morale is on the lower end, across departments.

Small company

Pros

Very flexible company/management with some small company perks. Very good to work with regarding time management and personal needs or emergencies.

Cons

Due to small company size pay and movement are very limited. Company is too small to run well with two offices in different states. Subsequently the second office has largely been ignored by upper management despite being responsible for half of all revenue.
