Pros

The CloseFactor platform was created by some of the most brilliant minds in software engineering and product management. They constantly push out new feature updates to achieve product market fit and fill a gap in the sales process that has yet to be solved by competitors. They always listen to the voice of the customer for product and process improvements. Communication and transparency across the board maintains a healthy and positive company culture.

Pros

Smart and dedicated colleagues Amazing healthcare benefits (unlimited PTO) Fully remote with team meet ups a few times a year Fantastic growth potential Leadership with high EQ

Cons

Not sure if this is really a con, but there is a lot of work to be done, and lots of different hats able to be worn. If you like that, it's great, but not for everyone (if you really like process and structure of a Enterprise)

Pros

Great people who support each other and are working towards a common goal. Good benefits for an early stage start up. Strong vision. Fully remote.

Cons

Customer churn is a massive problem, including with the biggest and most strategic customers. Most of the current client base is a result of founder-led sales that were built on previous relationships rather than strong product market fit. The main reason for this is the product is very far away from where it needs to be in order to be competitive. There's more to potentially expand on here but the simple truth is working on the GTM team will be a constant uphill battle and the layoffs and turnover that they've experienced within the last year speaks for itself.

As much as we appreciate your feedback overall, and will be reflecting on it, we can't agree with, "Customer churn is a massive problem... the product is very far away from where it needs to be in order to be competitive... working on the GTM team will be a constant uphill battle" Factually, we ended 2022 with zero churn, and have had great feedback from early adopters, and new customers as reflected in our client testimonials on our website. That said, building a modern technology start-up with ambitious goals is like building a plane while flying it, and it is not for everyone. But, this is how innovation, advancement, and market disruptions are done. We would be happy to discuss your feedback further on a 1:1 basis, and wish you all the best in your next role.
