    Pros

    Having had the experience of working at a number of firms across my career, I appreciate the gem that is Collibra. The teams are making a market, have a category leading offering, and are dedicated to each other and to the company goals. Customers rave about the value they gain from the platform. The executive team is experienced, passionate, and driven by growth. Strong talent can come into the organization and quickly create a path which fulfills individual ambition and company objectives.

    Cons

    This is not a place for folks who are coasting in their careers or those without ambition. Collibra is not a traditional, large software company where you do your job and stay in your silo/lane. There has been some churn which reflects the organizations requirement that you give all you have and perform. Judging by some of the recent Glassdoor posts, those who did not make the cut are expressing their displeasure with that outcome. Their views do not represent what Collibra is as a company.

    Advice to Management

    Stay focused, keep driving, find great people to build on what we have, keep cultivating this amazing culture.

    Pros

    I have worked at some stellar companies and Collibra sits right at the top in my experience. The opportunity is amazing and has lots of legs into the future. The company and culture are evolving, improving and perfecting as one would expect of a company our size. With growth comes challenge but it then becomes about intention and actions. The intentions are for growth and success for the people, the company and for our customers. The actions are toward embracing people's talents and ambitions and going to market together - shoulder to shoulder.

    Cons

    Growth and change are not for everyone. The DNA for people at Collibra must have "builder" as the main component. If you are a builder and are change adaptive and enjoy working hard as a team toward a very worthy goal - you should join. We also like to celebrate our success!

    Advice to Management

    Keep adapting, trying things and embracing the people. As our customers tell us "We love the platform and we love the people of Collibra!"

    Good customer base , market leader.

    Cons

    Customer retention and low user adoption, chaotic environment, lack of resources and work/life balance. Disjointed and tactical leadership.

    Pros

    Collaborative, Smart, Hardworking and fun. Collibra is blazing a trail in data and being a part of the journey is rewarding every day.

    Cons

    If hard work, ambiguity, and an environment where the bar is constantly raised isn't your forte, this may not be the place for you. If you embrace a challenge and are a team player, the results will show.

    Advice to Management

    Increasing the frequency of communication from all members of senior leadership may help keep everyone in sync

    Pros

    Nothing, Nothing, Nothing, Nothing and Nothing.

    Cons

    Horrible selfish company.
    No care for employees, overbearing, no work-life balance.
    Sub-par salary.
    No room to grow.
    Terrible benefits.
    They will do whatever they can to come ahead, to the detriment of the employee.

    Advice to Management

    Pay more attention to your employees quality of life. Stop constantly pushing the product and boosting PR.

    Lots of perks like conference allowances, travels, recognition and so on.

    HR needs to sort out further learning budget for the team.

    Super innovative company, leading the market. Be ready to be a team player and bring your get-it-done mentality. Nobody can hide in this place, you either contribute and surf the wave, or you will leave...

    Pros

    The interview process for presales engineers was tough but fair. Collibra seems to be attracting a very talented sales and marketing team in the US to complement their data governance solution.

    Cons

    Collibra is growing quickly and growing pains are expected. Use this opportunity to your advantage!

    Keep doing what's working and try to grow organically as much as possible

    Pros

    Excellent product, generally great people. Strong past growth, and continued expectations. They give positive feedback when you do extraordinary work.

    Cons

    Beware of leaving a position to work here, they hire and fire quickly. Because you will be overworked, you will not meet expectations for changing and implementing new capabilities. Pre-Sales role is expected to be only factor in determining if PoC prospect buys software, not price or sales set-up. Sales reps who do not qualify/properly set-up PoC, then drop it on different SE will cause SE to go.

    Advice to Management

    Take time hiring people, and if you don't like performance, cheaper for you in long run to help employee and keep them.
