Shift in focus from upper management has turned CHC IT into just another MSP (read: a corporate entity that cares progressively less and less about its customers). Internal directives are in relentless pursuit of KPIs and time tracking so that the company can extract as much money out of hospitals as possible. Employees' hands are tied by red tape, hampering response time and hindering their ability to focus on projects. Ambitious growth plans despite staff already being overworked.
As a potential employee, expect to be underpaid. Lots of turnover and attrition as employees leave for other opportunities that pay fairly. HR will alter job titles to keep your salary suppressed, and management has no desire or intention to stand up for you. Growth opportunities are essentially non-existent. Top end of merit-based raises fail to keep pace with inflation, and promotions don't happen, so expect to effectively lose salary every year you're there. Remote workers are pariahs to management thanks to healthy disdain of remote work from the CEO.
Lastly, this is another company that likes to call its employees family. You're not family - you never are: you are an employee, and you're valued right up until you're not.
