Thank you for the feedback. We strive to be as "chill" as possible for things that we don't have to have oversight on.
On one hand, having a lot of content that is similar makes it relatively easy to predict what needs to be transcribed. On the other hand, as you point out, it can certainly be tedious and mundane. We are always exploring new business partnerships to diversify the content that we receive.
Easy job if you can type fast and sit at a desk for hours. They do promote from within the company. Flexible scheduling as you literally make your own schedule as long as you can work a minimum of 16 hours a week. You can work up to 40 hours a week if you like after the training period ends. You can work remote now. They offer healthcare but there are some specific requirements for hours worked per week for an entire year. I did meet a diverse group of people at Copytalk (people of color, LGBT+ people, people with disabilities).
Cons
Sitting at a desk for hours, pay is based on production so if you aren’t fast you won’t make much, not much socialization especially if you go remote.
