    Pros

Recently acquired by JLL, relaxed atmosphere, pretty laid back and allow you to do what you want.

    Cons

Management isn't great. Pretty disorganized from what I see. Might be changing now though.

  2. "Not terrible"

    Pros

Salaried, PTO and holidays. Not really a great place to work, not entirely terrible though. Very deceiving at times.

    Cons

Low salary, BS birthday lunches used as group meetings. Very unprofessional. High school atmosphere with people shouting personal matters across the office. No bonus or additional compensation structure. Management says lower end workers will be rewarded when successfully completing tasks, which comes in the form of a birthday lunch.

I have been working at Corrigo (More than a year)

    Pros

The only real pro for this company is the fact they were recently acquired by JLL.

    Cons

Training was probably a total of 30 hours spread across 4 weeks, then being told "we are going to let you shadow a project" but the person you are shadowing has already done the work so you really are just joining the weekly status calls with the client. The next week you have your own projects to handle because key individuals have taken other positions with another company. Lots of hiring going on now but even the newly hired individuals in different departments feel they have not been properly trained before being thrown out there in front of clients. The workload is not balanced.

    Advice to Management

Training is important if you want your employees to succeed. It not only makes the employee look bad in front of the client but the company also. This industry is no longer a "boys" club.

    Pros

Good people in the support team to work with. Not micro managed.

    Cons

Support as a department is not treated as an equal, all other departments used support with no praise.

I have been working at Corrigo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good product in an industry lacking strong competition. Solid technology and engineering group. If Corrigo can improve execution, this could be a serious player. Corrigo has a customer core group that are leaders in several different marketplaces. This could allow them to make product enhancements to take the company to a leadership position.

    Cons

The tactical day to day operations need to improve. The company is too loosely organized to execute well and that has hampered growth. The feedback from employees and customers does not find its way to the engineering development cycle, so the product road-map is not clearly defined.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and clients more and make the necessary changes.

    I worked at Corrigo full-time

    Pros

The business model is based on a decent premise. Someone should eventually dominate the electronic work order space. Corrigo has decent chance.

The people were good to work with.

    Cons

Upper management was looking for a grand slam and promising more than it could deliver. This created a cycle of booms and busts with regard to financing, hiring and the inevitable downsizing when the economy hit a down turn.

    Pros

Great job for learning and growing on a individual basis. Massive amounts of freedom to make decisions was allowed. Good People to work with.

    Cons

Upper Management never does one on ones, annual reviews or pay increase considerations. Once a person leaves they don't rehire, just roll the responsibilities to another. Not growing. ,

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees better.

    Pros

The ability to work in the Mobility Application field is a very fortunate position as it's the future of wireless.

    Cons

Corrigo was a very mismanaged organization. They manage with a very impulsive mentality and do not show their employees any appreciation. The organization is extremely micro managed thus preventing the ability to effectively focus on sales. Corrigo has went through 2 independent hiring blitzes hiring 30 employees at a time two separate times - and terminating them all less than 4 months later, the day after Christmas of all times. Relocation of employees such as myself across the country to a different state - achieved highest sales on the team and praise from upper management to be terminated 4 months later with no separation package. It's very hard to find an upside to employment with Corrigo.

    Advice to Management

Allow employees in the field to focus on their job. Learn to make decisions with a realistic vision and during reorganizations realize that many of your employees left solid, secure, jobs to come work for you and deserve the common courtesy of even a minimal exit package.
