The pay is better than most freelance copy editing rates I've encountered.
Cons
Extremely unprofessional staff, especially in terms of communication--it takes several follow-up emails to get a response from them on any issue. And even when you do get a response, most of the time it's just to say they'll look into whatever it is--and then they never do. Cue yet another follow-up email. If you need help with anything work-related, or want to know why your payment is late for the second month in a row, good luck getting anything out of them. And sure, while the pay might be good, it isn't worth it to have to hassle with them every month every time your paycheck is late. After all, you're not working for them to get paid eventually. You're working with them to get paid on time, since you have been contracted to provide your work product to them on time. This is something they refuse to understand or acknowledge. Furthermore, though they are running a copy editing business for work produced in English, they themselves do not know how to write in proper English--so it makes me wonder how they are able to provide adequate services to their clients if they cannot possibly evaluate their contractors' work. In short, Cosmic Strands has no place conducting the sort of business they do. Avoid them at all costs, for your sanity's sake.
