I worked at Critical Manufacturing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Great people that don't bother to lose all the necessary time to help you, if you are stuck; - Great benefits (free coffee, massages, soup, fresh fruit); - Nice working envoirment; - People really care about you, it is not just the image they want to sell like all the other companies; - Your opinion is important, and people listen to what you say, even if the idea is stupid; - Good salary for starting...

    Cons

    - Don't teach people the basics of the MES concepts, when i say basics i mean not just a introduction lesson. To build a good product people need to know way more then programming, thinking about the product can also bring people to share new ideas. - Bad homeBoarding, when i entered the company, i wanted to leave in the first weak. Thaught was just me, but my collegues shared the same opinion.

    Advice to Management

    - Keep playing simple, i once had a professor that said that simple things are the best. And you guys never stood on tiptoe even in the top company positions;

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Critical Manufacturing full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Nice tech and awesome location (at least for me).

    Cons

Same line of thought. Hive mind. Individualism is not welcome. Typical tech company (is this a pro or a con?). Too many perks (is this a pro or also a con?). What? Is it because this job is too stressful? Really? What the hell is wrong with these tech people? You want to know what a stressful job is, try to drive a school bus full of noise kids day after day. Why so negativity? I'm blunt. I'm honest. If one...

    Critical Manufacturing Response

    April 27, 2018CEO

Thank you for this review. I must confess I'm a bit confused with it, but still on the negative topics "same line of thought, hive mind and individualism is not welcome" - accepting the comment, I must respectfully disagree: this is exactly the main challenge of an organization like ...

I have been working at Critical Manufacturing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

A very exciting company. Challenging projects at top companies all over the world with cutting-edge technology made in Portugal. This should be sufficient, but there's much more. A great office and a very open culture where each person can tell their peers or supervisor what they want and be really heard. Not everything is always perfect, but can be corrected.

    Cons

The perks are not yet best in class, although improving The office location could be better for non-driving persons. Parking is also becoming a challenge lately. Salary is ok, but not outstanding

    Advice to Management

Never stop having this humble, yet ambitious spirit

I have been working at Critical Manufacturing full-time for more than 9 years

    Pros

You get the opportunity to work in projects that offer you a great insight of various industries, from healthcare to high-tech automation. The company is going quite well and that reflects on benefits and bonuses. Upper management is present and regularly shares vision, roadmap and results. It's relatively easy to move around in the company as long as you have a clear idea of what you want to do.

    Cons

The company is getting bigger and it's a real challenge to get the right people on the bus.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

I have been working at Critical Manufacturing full-time for more than 9 years

    Pros

Great atmosphere, talented people, fantastic benefits (shiatsu massages, health insurance, mobile phone, fruit, coffee, breakfast, theme parties, etc), challenging projects, up-to-date technology, travelling to some interesting places. Complete openness regarding company roadmap and results.

    Cons

I'd love for the location to be in Porto, but since the work hours are flexible, traffic becomes insignificant. It's really a small issue when compared with all the pros.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the excellent work
