I worked at Crius Energy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Relaxed work environment
    -Genuine coworkers
-Plenty of opportunity and education available
-Management (Director and above) are very approachable, friendly, caring, and involved.
    -Great benefits

    Cons

-The locations in Norwalk was a con for me personally.

    Advice to Management

Allow people to work from home more often if their job can be done outside of the office. I was allowed to do this and accomplished much more while being much more comfortable. It made me grateful and more accomplished since I was now being judged on the quality of my work and not time spent in the office.

I enjoyed time I spent there. I look back on my time at Crius very fondly.

I have been working at Crius Energy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy job, decent pay, management really cares, paid time off, benefits, severance pay for lay off, bonus

    Cons

They hire agents across the country who can't even speak English to replace current agents that have been here for YEARS so they can pay them 1/5th of what they had to pay us, hard to move up, co workers act like we're in high school

    Advice to Management

Keep the agents that have been here for years devoting time instead of replacing them

I worked at Crius Energy full-time

    Pros

    Great atmosphere of peers
    Work hard, play hard culture
    Great room for growth

    Cons

Company outgrew some of its earliest leadership leading to weak operations when the leadership persisted

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to cut losses, work out an appropriate means by which leadership-in-training may engage in discourse over decisions

I worked at Crius Energy full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Independent work environment filled with hardworking people.

    Cons

Management saying the right things but doesn't really execute on them. Sending mixed (or no) messages to it's employees.

    Advice to Management

Really execute on what you are presenting to your employees. Have one story to tell and really execute.

Fast paced environment where if you are willing to work a lot of hours and are able to figure things our for yourself (no hand holding here) then you have an opportunity to advance, but it comes at a price.

    Cons

Bad data, bad processes, quick expansion leads to a stressful work environment where you are consistently trying to keep your head above water. Pay is low for all the work.
