Bad management and leadership. Quantity but no quality.
Pros
Aggressively pursuing licences everywhere for expansion. Willing to overspend money on high profile partnerships, influencers and marketing, so big brand in industry. Fully remote work. Starting salary is decent. Lots of nice people especially at junior to mid levels.

As many others already posted, there are serious problems with management and leadership. Unfortunately this will not change as they own the business. According to public media news they were friends before they started crypto.com during previous failed businesses. Management keep trying to persuade everyone that the business is successful and stable by quoting things in their favour. One example is saying how many millions of users there are on the platform, but not providing any transparency or actual details. It is widely believed that most users only opened an account with the business using a minimum deposit and are not active. There is sole focus on quantity across all aspects of the business. Productivity is assessed by how many tasks you seem to have finished, and not standard of work or time used. There is a real lack of quality due to incompetent management, bad hiring and promoting, and no internal structure. In Legal, for example, many colleagues know the team is headed by an incompetent and inexperienced bully who was promoted only due to being first to join. This makes the whole team suffer and creates a stressful toxic environment. Many colleagues started leaving and those remaining are planning exits too. Most decisions are driven in APAC by leaders with no experience outside of their own country. Do not believe the fake short positive reviews trying to mask the real negative views of most employees.
