I have been working at Czarnowski full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Czarnowski goes above and beyond for employees, and is really family focused. We have team building days all the time, which include fun, food and activities. I feel like the management team takes the time to listen and make changes. The best job I have ever had. I'm only 34 and I hope to retire with Czarnowski. We love what we do!

    Cons

    non that come to mind

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    I worked at Czarnowski full-time

    Pros

The owners are great and so are most of the executives. Good atmosphere.

    Cons

Not a lot of back-up if you have a problem. Some judgment without communication. Lack of consistency.

    Advice to Management

Talk to the employees before taking action. Communication needs improvement.

    Pros

A lot of creative people, good technology and resources
Great place if you're starting out or making a career change
Get in good with the VP's and account directors and you're set (more likely to get raises and promotions)
    European aesthetic
Travel perks, get a lot of overtime, (mostly) unsupervised

    Cons

    - could pay account coordinators higher, money in the company seems to be skewed towards the directors
    - More organization with clients
    - located all the way in austell- takes a while to get to
    - lack of company events

    Advice to Management

    - appreciate the lower level staff more, they're doing all the hard work
    - increase cohesion among employees in the company
    -increase account managers accountability

I worked at Czarnowski full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The ONLY pros I saw is that everyone gets $100.00 and a chance to win more money during Christmas parties.

    Cons

This company is toxic, there is so much playing favorites in this company. Lets define what favoritism is: Favoritism is favoring someone not because he or she is doing a great job, but for reasons outside of the job performance. That's the main PROBLEM at Czarnowski, if you are not going out with someone in the company or having drinks after work don't expect to get promoted. The accounting department gets favors all the time, I was asked multiple occasions to stop what I was doing which was important for the company just to "unjam paper" from one of the printers. The main office is the Chicago office, but they have multiple offices. So, if someone in another office says something negative about you or somehow says you were doing your job too slow, guess what? You will get written up and your days are numbered. That's how it is. How is it that someone with just a high school diploma can make just as much or even MORE than an employee with a Bachelors, or Masters Degree? If you have a college degree or certifications that you worked hard for, the people at Czarnowski will look down at you as if you did something wrong. They have their own "chosen" school that they approve of. There is a glass ceiling at Czarnowski, so once you have achieved to a certain level, there will be nowhere else to go but out the door.

    Advice to Management

When you get quality employees you should try to hold onto them, not make them feel bad because they have more education or experience than other team members. When employees are interested in advancing their skill set you shouldn't shun them or make them feel like they are wasting their time. If someone wants to move into Project Management, you should ENCOURAGE them!!

I worked at Czarnowski (More than a year)

    Pros

OT is available so you an make a lot of $ when we have work.

    Cons

They are very seasonal and busy in the auto dealers trade show exhibit time
Poor communication with the sales department and the production area so a lot of last minute changing.
They hire to many employees and lay off a lot of people.

    Advice to Management

Sales have better communication with the production so we are not working so much OT

    Advice to Management

More accountability needed from top to bottom.

I have been working at Czarnowski full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The environment is clean and friendly. The pay is average but the working hours are unrealistic. There are times when the entire dept of 15 people or more are all working well over 80 hours a week.

    Cons

The working hours are unrealistic. There are times when the entire dept of 15 people or more are all working well over 80 hours a week. Deadlines are very short turn around time and the detail is critical.

    Advice to Management

Hire more staff and let existing employees work from home when hours exceed the normal work week.

    I worked at Czarnowski full-time

    Pros

This company can be a lot of fun. The events and parties and branded goodies are nice. It is also so much fun getting to be a part of a team that creates beautiful things. If you can get past the cons, it is not a bad place to work.

    Cons

The upper management of the LV branch tends to hire girlfriends, kids, friends of their kids, the people their kids have slept with... You get the picture. It is a bit of a nepotism factory. They get all the best opportunities. They all go on vacations together, leaving out anyone else.

    Advice to Management

Try hiring outside of your safe zone.

I have been working at Czarnowski full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Large enough to handle any size client or project. Small enough to CARE about every employee, client and project. Very experienced to handle any concern. Wide range of very talented employees.

    Cons

They have the typical growing pains that come with a successful company. Labor rates are a bit high but they offer great value for your dollar but not your low cost Walmart type provider.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes it's good to take the time to acknowledge the individuals that got you there.
