-Use fear tactics to get results (and failing) -Working within a dead industry -0% career trajectory -Misled during the interview process and position was mostly like cold calling (which was never communicated) -Such high turnover. Most of the employees left after I did.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Digital media is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the global economy and as one of the largest independently-owned digital media agencies in North America, DAC Group has continually demonstrated excellence in staying ahead of the curve as the industry continues to evolve. DAC Group enjoys some of the strongest retention numbers in the digital industry – thanks to the perks you mention in your review including gym and compensation, but also thanks to our commitment to clear communication between management and employees. We regret to hear you didn’t have a strong grasp of the role following the interview process and will consider that feedback moving forward. As always, we encourage all employees to communicate any concerns with their managers over the course of their employment.

Pros

Wonderful, wonderful people on the ground level. Most are there because of circumstance and it truly is a warm group. The work itself is also actually super rewarding.

Cons

I need to be careful of what I say, as I've been advised to hold back until my agent finishes their suit. This is the least, and I mean LEAST, professional working environment I've ever seen or heard of. From relations between managers and non-managers, to queries on "relations" in the office via text message or email when people go home and the place is empty (I have receipts), to the musical chairs style way of hiring and firing, there wasn't a day that went by that I and many others left without feeling horrible. For reference, one employee in another division was let go and the managers watched that employee walk to his car from the window while laughing. It was one of the grossest things I've ever heard of. One manager had 80% of their department leave or get let go, and instead of how 99% of other offices would respond asking what was wrong with that individual "leader", she and her direct boss (same name as a car company) who is equally as inept fail up. The 2 heads of the office rarely come in. When one does, she will give you a square smile, curse like a sailor, or threaten people in the infamous 3pms. When the other does, he has almost no knowledge of the product and seemingly Facetimes and talks about football small talk rather than help the process. Ask him to go through a cold call process or literally anything regarding the roles of most people in the office; it's as foreign to him as the Moon. Things got really bad when a certain individual was re-hired towards the end of my duration; he completely amped up the cursing, threats, and negative atmosphere. He is tall in stature and short in IQ points.

Pros

None I can think of

Cons

Glorified call center with a high school atmosphere. The managers will micromanage you daily and monitor your strict KPIs -25+ calls a day. Oh and they preach a “hybrid” WFH schedule like the rest of the company has. That is NOT true. You are expected to be in 4 days a week with Friday being WFH. Do you feel sick and want to work from home? Sorry you can’t, you have to use PTO. Countless times sick employees came into the office because they were scared to work from home. Toxic. Nepotism is EVERYWHERE. I’ve seen management first hand ask employees to leave positive reviews on here……..speaks for its self. HR will probably comment something defensive but they have been in the loop this entire time and nothing changes. Stay away.
