    Pros

DLZ has shown countless times in my 15 years that it cares for its employees. People are treated with respect and hard work is appreciated.

    Cons

Overall satisfied but more vacation for senior employees would be nice

I have been working at DLZ full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Was taught what I didn't know without a problem. Was given the opportunity to work in various departments to learn their disciplines

Sometimes there would be long work days in order to get a project out.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Benefits are standard. Management is laid back and does not micromanage. Salary is slightly above average. Good coworkers.

    Cons

It’s all about money. If you don’t produce income, you’re out. It’s cheap, high pressure car sales. Infighting between architecture/engineering is a big drag on morale. Company will sacrifice long term client relationships to achieve a quarterly goal.

    Advice to Management

Find a new DLZ Ohio president that has the best interests of clients in mind instead of DLZ’s bottom line. Focus on quality, not who you can lay off next.

    I worked at DLZ full-time

    Pros

It's a living, with decent benefits. They will negotiate some rules like letting you work from home.

    Cons

The place has no soul. It's uninspiring and not a place to stay for the long term.

    Advice to Management

You can't hide the skeletons forever

I have been working at DLZ full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Once I was there for over a year, the staff warmed up and I made good friends with 97%.

    Cons

Administrative Coordinator and Staff are negative and prone to attack, willy nilly.

    Advice to Management

No advice. The issues they have are long-term. If they don't see them now then they never will.
