Pros

Interesting industry, good product. Great colleagues with passion for an unique and impressive client experience and growing the company as a team. But...

Cons

In last year or so, top management has made an about-face and no longer collaborating with employees. Rash decisions to change organization and eliminate employees with industry and technical experience to save money. Those who challenge mgmt risk layoff. New Employees (at below avg low pay) have no experience and no mentors. Those that haven’t been laid off yet are working on their exit strategies.

Pros

- friendly lower level staff - you can set your own hours within reason

Cons

- low pay, no raises, no bonuses - inept management that are in those positions because of previous friendships with the CEO - removal of previous benefits (no more remote work, health benefits went from 100% to 80% co pay) - Management, team leaders and anyone with power are all old men. Women are repeatedly looked over or expected to work as a manager for the pay of a low level employee - Multiple very qualified people were "laid off" because they challenged the CEO. There's no room for discussion or real improvements. - Cutting corners anywhere it saves money: hiring under qualified students and getting rid of senior staff who were amazing at their jobs, throwing the work of anyone who leaves at someone who is already in the company regardless of their actual aptitude for the new role (and without an increase in pay), even the building is broken with a broken alarm system and no AC upstairs

Pros

Good marketing; Decent Product (although in a saturated market); Web site and commerce site works well

Cons

Limited vision and no strategic direction; Terrible salaries (no raises in over 2 years) and poor benefits; Morale is at an all time low and the work environment is uninspired and jaded; Employees give great suggestions but are only considered if in line with new exec mgt team; High employee turnover; Positions are filled with inexpensive, less experienced staff in an effort to keep costs down; Poor internal communications with no stated company objectives; No Human Resources department to hear and address employee objections; Growth appears to be flat.
