I worked at Ditech Financial full-time

    Pros

Exceptional compensation package, generous PTO, exceptional medical benefits. Your coworkers treat you like family.

    Cons

The place has gone downhill. 3 CEOS in the past 2 years I've been there. They brought in McKinsey consultants who have destroyed moral, culture, and workforce. Extreme amounts of layoffs, and turnover. They layoff entire departments just to be able to pay the CEO and McKinsey million dollar bonuses. McKinsey makes a ton of projects and cut a ton of staff and has unrealistic expectations for completing these projects. They also moved their helpdesk offshore, which has become the joke of IT, IT support is a joke because of the offshore helpdesk. IT Management doesn't do anything to improve it, they just look the other way. Company culture is a fearful one where people are afraid to speak up for fear of losing their jobs.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of McKinsey, they are destroying the company. Take care of your people and try to retain the remaining good talent before everyone leaves.

I worked at Ditech Financial full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The Ditech facility in Tempe is awesome. The move really increased morale all around. I had amazing freedom from micro managment, amazing colleagues and the compensation for my position was very good as an individual contributor.

    Cons

Frequent layoffs with subsequent rehiring for those same positions.

    Advice to Management

CEO/CFO/ BOARD MEMBERS...Fight for the people who work for you. The Disposal of staff affects real people. When I see a job I performed only months ago being advertised on career website I wonder what went into layoff selection in the first place...

    Advice to Management
