Pros

The company's values do more than look good on paper: from team meetings, to lunchtime conversations, to project ideation, statements like "put people first" and "pursue possibility" and "create collaboratively" are deeply woven in the company's culture. You'll see Domain7ers who've been with the company for 6, 8, 10+ years: Rather than stagnation, I think this speaks to the growth opportunities within the company. Current strategists were former PMs, design leads joined as junior developers. There's room to not only move up the ladder, but across to others, too.

Cons

The company has grown over the past few years, and hasn't escaped unscathed. Internal growing pains hit things like toolsets and communication channels: what worked for a smaller team suddenly wasn't working with more people, new offices, additional complexity. The team is navigating this space well, but it hasn't been without challenge. A rather flat and democratic org structure means if there's a company decision being made, you're likely to be consulted, regardless of role / seniority. This is great for inclusion and diversity of thought in the decision-making process, but can lead to change happening at a less-than-rapid pace.

Pros

Mission and Values Company has a clear sense of it's mission and values. The values are taken seriously and every effort is made to ensure the team lives them out daily. Team Has consistently had a great team of people to work with. Hallmarks typically include humble, easy going, social team members who are focused on collaboration and team success rather than self. End Product Company takes pride in it's work and wants to deliver high quality, high value projects to every client. Team is genuinely disappointed when they feel they miss the mark on this and steps are typically taken to try to avoid repeating mistakes. Career Path There are opportunities to grow however some of the leadership roles are becoming more limited as the team has grown. Typically career trajectory is largely self driven, the more motivated you are and able to sell the opportunity the more likely it will happen. Opportunities are given for professional development and a supportive environment on personal growth pursuits. Work/Life Balance Company offers a lot of flexibility to it's employees around schedule. Very easy to make life work while employed here. They have continued employment for team members who've moved away. Very supportive around family and health dynamics. Innovation Typically try to stay ahead of the curve. Company likes trying new things but is also somewhat risk adverse so do try to strike the right balance. Not afraid of change.

Cons

Ambiguity Not being particularly policy driven means each scenario is often handled on it's own which means things can be ambiguous and unclear. Sometimes things can also feel inconsistent as a result. Personal Support Personal support is not consistent across the leadership team. I believe many want to but don't always know how. That said, read work/life balance above in pros. Fear of Conflict Can sometimes avoid dealing with things for too long, have improved here but need to deal with things earlier. On the flipside a LOT better than high conflict employers.
