I have been working at EDSI full-time

    Pros

Small Business culture that allows the executive leadership to actually get to know their employees very well. Leadership truly cares about its workforce and is dedicated to providing quality products and services.

    Cons

Government customers are challenging to work with.

    Advice to Management

Continue to search for more opportunities that allows the company to diversify and move personnel between contracts more readily.

I worked at EDSI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people I worked with were all top notch.
They were the best people I had ever worked with.

    Cons

Senior management never appeared to want to connect at any level with their staff.
Worst health care benefits I've ever encountered.
Personnel disagreements between EDSI contractors and government staff were always acrimonious.

    Advice to Management

You need to treat your employees better but then again you chose not to do anything to make that any better.

I have been working at EDSI full-time

    Pros

Work supports US troops in the field. That is best thing I like about this job and its importance. There is no better feeling.

    Cons

Government staff treats contractors with no respect at all. Poor communication between EDSI management and government staff results in mixed messages of what is required of contractors

    Advice to Management

You need to provide more opportunities to advance to other positons. At present, there is no opportunity. This results in poor morale overall

    Pros

The communication with my Co works is very good. Being able to help get people on the right track with life and work towards achieving their goals.

    Cons

Hire more people that are passionate about the work we do like some of our interns that work hard. Also try to partner up with different vendors and jurisdictions to help expand resources.
