    I worked at ESTIEM part-time

    Pros

The organisation allows you to travel through Europe and get to know locals

    Cons

Only works when you are a student

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing the great work that the organisation is doing now.

    Pros

The open environment willing to accept and try out any ideas. Amazing people. Culturally diverse teams. Opportunity to travel all around Europe.

    Cons

The budgets are always too low. Sometimes people can leave their commitments and disappear. The travel costs are reimbursed only for the Board, so being active requires some financial investment.

    Advice to Management

Nothing I have not suggested personally. Maybe focus more on the financial part of the organisation so the investments required to be active would be smaller.

    Pros

Opportunity to get involved with an organization that connects Industrial Engineering and Management students accross Europe. Interesting events with foreign students from different cultural backgrounds.

    Cons

Sometimes meetings take too long and show little progress. It can be very demanding to balance academic work with the needs of the organization close to events.

    Advice to Management

Promote short exchange programs for groups of students not directly engaged with the organization.

I have been working at ESTIEM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

ESTIEM is great network of students, all around Europe. There is a lot of space for networking and learning across the Europe.

    Cons

Sometimes fun and leisure activities are more supported than serious one. Alumni relations are not developed enough.
